I always forget how much people who consider horror a worthless genre annoy me until I argue with them irl. “But why do we need scary stories when there are so many scary things in the world already?” I don’t know…because we need to understand the things that scare us?

#there's nothing wrong with personal preference but don't dismiss the genre's worth u kno  #especially if you've never actually seen a horror movie???
