Can we make Dave Stidering a verb for when fandom attempts to pass off a dorky character, cool in their own minds and usually male, as legitimately cool? Its cousin, Dave Strider in Leather Pants, is written in fanfic as a bad boy weighed down with manpain.
Ex. Studio Bones totally Dave Strider in Leather Pants-ed Roy Mustang, and fandom ate that shit up.
